I am a Namespace Admin.

Print

The Namespace Admin manages members, secrets within the assigned namespace, and private projects in the Image Registry (Harbor).

Kubernetes, which forms the foundation of Cloud Z CP, supports multiple virtual clusters within the same physical cluster. These virtual clusters are called namespaces.

The Cluster Admin must first complete the initial namespace setup.

Adding Members to the Namespace

The Namespace Admin must add members, such as CI/CD Managers or Developers, to allow them to use the namespace.

Follow these steps to add members:

  1. Click on the link for the created namespace. In the displayed screen, go to the Member Management tab.
  2. Enter the name of the member you want to add in the search field and click the corresponding button.
  3. Modify the namespace permissions as needed and click the corresponding button in the additional column.

Creating a Private Project in the Image Registry

Sign Up for an Image Registry Account

Click Image Registry from the side menu.

Click Sign up for an account at the bottom left of the Harbor UI to create an account and log in.

Create a Private Project

Click Projects > NEW PROJECT.

Enter the Project Name and click OK.

The project has now been created.

Setup Complete! Inform the CI/CD Manager that the initial namespace and Image Registry configuration has been completed.
