I am a Cluster Admin.

The Cluster Admin is a superuser with permissions to access all functions within the cluster.

They primarily monitor the status of the cluster, manage users and namespaces in the console, and oversee users and public projects in the Image Registry (Harbor).

Create Namespace

Kubernetes, which forms the foundation of Cloud Z CP, supports multiple virtual clusters that are supported by the same physical cluster. These virtual clusters are referred to as Namespaces.

Select Namespaces from the side menu to navigate to the Namespace screen. Then, click the button after the last card. Click Add.

When the Namespace addition screen appears, enter the Namespace name and click Confirm.

User Creation

Create user accounts for the Namespace Admin who manages the namespace.

Select Users from the side menu to navigate to the user screen. Then, click the Add button in the upper right corner of the user screen.

In the user addition screen, enter the information and click the Register button.

Set Namespace Members

Set users for the namespace created above.

Select Namespaces from the side menu to navigate to the Namespace screen. Then, click the link associated with the Namespace name.

When the Namespace management screen appears, click the Member Management tab.

In the member addition list, enter the member you want to add in the search box and click the Add button.

Change the Namespace permissions and click the button in the Add column.

Create Public Project in Image Registry

Create an Image Registry project for public use within the cluster.

Select Image Registry from the side menu to navigate to the Image Registry (Harbor) service.

Select the Projects menu and click the NEW PROJECT button.

Create Account in Image Registry

Create an account to set as a member in the created Public project.

Click Administration > Users > NEW USER button.

Enter the user information as shown below and click the OK button to create the user.

Set Project Members in Image Registry

As shown on the screen, go into the project, click the Members tab, and click the NEW MEMBER button.

In the Name field, enter the Username of the member created above, select Project Admin for the Role, and click OK.

Completion! Now, please inform the Namespace Admin that the basic configuration has been completed.
