Overview
Container Manager is a service that distributes and analyzes container costs.
It analyzes costs based on resource-assigned Tags and invoices.
Preliminary Tasks
Resource Tag Setup
Register a new Custom Tag Key “cz_container_bill”.
Assign an appropriate value to the Tag Key (cz_container_bill) for each resource.

Cluster Selection
In the Status Information Management > Cluster Management menu, set the Cluster-Namespace for cost allocation.
OC Creation
Register OC in the Status Information Management > OC Management menu.
Service Creation
Register a service in the Status Information Management > Service Management menu.
OC - Select one or more OCs to connect to the service.
Namespace - Select one Cluster Namespace to connect to the service. (However, a Namespace already linked to another service cannot be selected.)
Tag - Select one or more values set in the resource Tag Key (cz_container_bill).
Select account
In the Manage Accounts > Account Settings menu, select the MCMP account you want to map to cluster costs.
Setting common cost allocation criteria
Set the ratio for each OC in the Standard Management > Common Cost Distribution Standard Management menu.
Distribution ratios can be entered up to the first decimal place.
Service Cost Allocation Criteria Settings
In the Criteria Management > Service Cost Allocation Criteria Management menu, you can set the allocation ratio for OC connections linked to each service.
The allocation ratio can be entered up to the first decimal place.
Use the service
After issuing the invoice, we analyze the cluster cost based on pre-set criteria.
Based on billing year and month
Service usage history
You can check costs by billing year and month in the Cost Analysis > Service Usage Details menu.
You can click on the billing date in the list to view detailed information by service or OC at the bottom.
OC standards
OC Criteria Cost Analysis
You can see the costs by OC at a glance in the Cost Analysis > OC-Based Cost Analysis menu.
You can select the billing month at the top to check the cost trend by OC and cost status by service for the past 6 months.
The cost allocation criteria are applied based on the criteria at the time of cost analysis.
Check cost by OC
You can check detailed costs by OC in the Cost Analysis > OC Cost View menu.

Service Criteria
Service-specific Cost Inquiry
You can check the detailed service-specific costs in the Cost Analysis > Service-specific Cost Inquiry menu.
Cluster Cost | The cluster cost of the service-connected Cluster Namespace is allocated in proportion to Namespace usage. |

Service Common Cost | The service common cost is allocated to the services assigned with a cost tag in a 1/N ratio. |
Service Cost | This is the service tag cost of the service-connected service. |
Cost Item Criteria
Detailed Cost Item Inquiry
You can check the detailed costs of each item in the Cost Analysis > Detailed Cost Item Inquiry menu.
In the top tab, select from Cluster, Common Costs, Service Common Costs, or Service-specific Costs to view detailed information.
