5.1.Cloud Z DB Portal 


5.1.1. Cloud Z DB Portal URL

To use Cloud Z DB, you need to check and access the following URL:

5.1.2. Creating an Account

Click the Create Account button to create an account for accessing the Cloud Z DB Console.

5.1.3. Applying for Use

Apply for the use of a Cloud Z DB Console account.

Enter the desired ID, your name, email, and password, then click Sign Up.

5.1.4. Email Verification

Verify your email through the confirmation email sent during the application process.

5.1.5. Portal Login

Log in using the account you applied for.

If a pop-up window appears as shown below, request the administrator to register a Namespace and Member.

5.1.6. Setting Default Values in the Portal

Cloud Z DB Portal default settings are must be reviewed and configured upon first access.items that must be checked and configured. Additionally, if necessary, Cloud Z DB Admin they can be modified by the administrator.

5.1.6.1. Accessing Cloud Z DB Portal

Log in to the Cloud Z DB Portal by entering your ID and password.

5.1.6.2. Selecting <Account Name> 

Click the <Account Name> menu in the upper right corner of the page.

5.1.6.3. Selecting Default Settings

Under <Account Name>, click Default Settings to navigate to the management screen for default values applied when creating a DB instance. 

5.1.6.4. Default Settings Configuration

DB Instance Sets the default values to be applied during creation.

Common: Default settings applicable to all services.

  • Resource Availability Check: Checks available resources when creating a service to determine whether creation is possible. It is recommended to keep this ON, but if an error prevents the check, turning it OFF allows service creation.

  • Public Network Usage: Determines whether to display the Public Network settings UI during service creation. If not using a Public Network, set this to OFF to remove the related button from the service creation process.



MariaDB: Default settings for the MariaDB service.

  • Backup Retention Period: Sets the default backup retention period for the service to be created. If backup is enabled (ON) during service creation, the service is created with the configured retention period, and backup files are stored accordingly. This setting can be modified later in the Backup tab.

  • Backup Time: Sets the default backup time for the service to be created. If backup is enabled (ON) during service creation, the service is created with the configured time, and backups are performed at that time. This setting can be modified later in the Backup tab.

  • Auto Failover Configuration UI: Determines whether to display the Auto Failover configuration UI on the service details page. If set to OFF, it will not be displayed on the service details page. To configure Auto Failover, this setting must be turned ON.

After completing the configuration, click Save.
