To create a monitor in Datadog, click the Monitors > New Monitor menu or click the New Monitor button at the top of the Manage Monitors screen.

Logs | Monitors logs collected by Datadog. |
APM | Compares APM metrics against user-defined thresholds. |
Real User Monitoring | Monitors real user data collected by Datadog. |
Watchdog | Receives alerts when Watchdog detects abnormal behavior. |
Composite | Generates alerts based on expressions combining multiple monitors. |
CI Pipelines | Monitors CI pipeline data collected by Datadog. |
