Dashboards in Datadog are tools used to visually track, analyze, and display key performance indicators for monitoring infrastructure status.
Add Dashboard
Click the Dashboards > New Dashboard menu on the left side of the screen
or click the New Dashboard button at the top right of the Dashboard screen.
Enter the Dashboard Name and select the Dashboard Type among New Dashboard/New Timeboard/New Screenboard, then click the button.
Dashbord is a next-generation grid-based layout that can include various objects such as images, graphs, and logs. It is generally used as a status board or storytelling view that updates in real-time and can represent fixed points in the past. It also works well for debugging.
Timeboard has an automatic layout and represents a fixed or real-time single point across the entire dashboard. It is typically used for troubleshooting, correlation analysis, and general data exploration.
Screenboard is a free-form layout dashboard that can include various objects such as images, graphs, and logs. It is generally used as a status board or storytelling view that updates in real-time or represents fixed points in the past.
